About the Exhibition
The Torggler is pleased to present its first exhibition of works by members of Christopher Newport University’s LifeLong Learning Society (LLS). LLS is a membership organization dedicated to people of retirement age who seek opportunities for learning in an environment of sharing and fellowship. Managed by and for its members, LLS is a program of Christopher Newport University and is an affiliate of the Elderhostel Institute Network. As part of its mission, LLS offers art classes in a variety of artistic mediums as well as programs in art history.
For this exhibition at the Torggler, LLS members living across Hampton Roads were invited to submit up to two works of art in any medium.
