Luisa Adelfio: Transcendence

About the Exhibition

Luisa Adelfio features a collection of paintings, prints, and sculpture made by the artist over the last five years. Drawing upon a broad range of art historical sources, from religious frescoes of the early Italian Renaissance to mid-century American abstraction, as well as European surrealism and Mexican modernism, Adelfio arranges shape and color into patterns, whose rhythms conjure the cycles of planets, art history, and daily life.
