The Mary M. Torggler Fine Arts Center is proud to partner with the Armed Services Arts Partnership (ASAP). ASAP is a creative community that helps veterans thrive through the arts by offering free art and comedy classes to veterans, service members, military spouses, family members, and caregivers.
Create art you can mail! In this hands-on workshop, students will explore both relief and intaglio printing techniques using our small but mighty printing presses. Design and print original artwork sized to a standard, mailable 4” x 6” postcard. Participants will learn how to carve and ink relief blocks, prepare and print intaglio plates, and run their designs through the press for crisp, professional results. By the end of class, you’ll leave with a small edition of handcrafted postcards ready to send or share.
No experience necessary — just bring your creativity!
